About Claudia Villalobos
Artist Statement:
Art for me is a way to express myself with out having boundries, rules and expectations. It's been dynamic in helping me navigate my emotions from an early age. I hope to inspire youth through creating by showing them all the possible ways to expressing themselves.
I use a variety of teaching methods to make sure that everybody feels welcome, engaged and excited to learn.
Artist Bio:
Born and raised in the 206! Claudia couldn't be any more proud of her PNW roots! She is a hippy at heart! She is a Mother of 2 super Dope kids! They create at home all the time! THEY ARE what keeps her continuing her journey to inspire others through art. She grew up on Beacon Hill, a diverse neighborhood and attended Rainier Beach High school. on her free time she enjoys traveling, happy hour's, art shows, last minute adventures, road trips and dinner with friends and family. her most favorite is PNW Sunrises and Sunsets.
She is also the sister of a pretty talented, amazing Muralist and Artist Onesevennine ( Angelina Villalobos). Art and creativity definitely run in the family! They are both Mexican/American and spent their younger years in Yakima, Washington, where they ultimately think their drive and Ambition came from!
