Claudia Villalobos – Artist, Educator & Community Builder

Born and raised in Seattle, Claudia Villalobos discovered art at an early age. Growing up in South Seattle, creativity became more than a hobby—it became a place of healing, self-expression, and hope. Those early experiences shaped the artist and educator she is today and continue to inspire the work she creates throughout the Pacific Northwest.

As a young mother, Claudia realized that art wasn't just transforming her own life—it had the power to transform the lives of others. That realization led her to create Seattle Paint Party, a mobile art experience designed to make creativity accessible to everyone, especially communities that have historically had limited access to the arts.

Today, Claudia is a full-time teaching artist, muralist, and arts educator who believes art should be joyful, welcoming, and deeply connected to community. Whether she's leading a corporate team-building workshop, mentoring young artists, facilitating arts integration for educators, or creating public art installations, her goal is always the same: to help people reconnect with their creativity and with one another.

Her work extends far beyond the canvas. Claudia is passionate about using art as a tool for wellness, storytelling, and belonging. She partners with schools, hospitals, nonprofits, and community organizations to create meaningful arts experiences that foster connection, spark conversation, and remind people that creativity belongs to everyone.

As an entrepreneur, she is equally passionate about showing young people that a creative career is possible. By sharing her own journey—from working a traditional job to building a thriving arts business—she encourages the next generation to dream bigger and see art as both a passion and a profession.

Claudia's newest chapter includes expanding her studio into a creative gathering space where artists, families, and the community can create, connect, and celebrate together. She is also documenting her personal journey as an artist, highlighting the resilience, healing, and purpose that art has brought into her life.
